Hi, I'm Dickson.

Diploma in Information Technology | Content Creator | Author | Photographer

I'm an IT student @ Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. When I'm not tearing my hair out from dealing with virtual bugs, I'm a content creator, music producer, and the author of Fragments of Silent Scars. I share my artistic pursuits through YouTube, Twitch, and photography, while actively volunteering on Wikipedia.


Currently in my final year of my Diploma program, I'm developing Multimedia Buddy (stylized as MMU Buddy), a web-based platform specifically designed to help students connect on a personal level—addressing the challenges of large-scale, impersonal university gatherings/events.


Born and raised in Malaysia, I acquired a deep love for the English language when I first found solace in reading. Now, I hope to follow in the footsteps of my favourite authors and make a positive impact through my debut novel, Fragments of Silent Scars.


I'm a certified Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE) holder, and I was the Second Place winner in Stage 1 of the 2021 KGL International English Olympiad - B2 level.


When I'm out and about with my friends, you can usually find me with a camera in hand, capturing the scenery around me, or my friends in their natural habitat, chuckling like the little kids we are at heart.


After graduation, I plan to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minor in English Literature.

Multimedia Buddy

Multimedia Buddy (stylized as MMU Buddy) is a web-based platform specifically designed to help Multimedia University students connect with each other on a personal level — thus addressing the widespread issue of students feeling disconnected from their peers that are from different faculties. It is mainly designed to host and connect small gathering of students, allowing them to form a tightly-knit friendship group. In addition, it allows more socially anxious students to connect with others in a more comfortable enviroment.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface that allows students to easily navigate the platform and find the information they need. It is also designed to be highly customizable, allowing students the opportunity to express themselves and create a profile that is uniquely theirs.

As of right now, Multimedia Buddy is still in active development, with the first prototype expected to be released towards the end of 2025. It will be available for all students from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya Campus with additional campus/universities to be considered in the future.
