Hi, I'm Dickson.

Hi, I'm Dickson Teow, also known online as Dulcetia & MultiDulcetia, a student at Multimedia University, currently pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology. Alongside my studies, I am also a part-time content creator, managing two YouTube channels - one dedicated to gaming and the other to vlogs - along with a growing presence on Twitch. In addition to creating video content, I also dabble in photography, with a focus on street photography and portraiture, capturing the beauty of everyday life in seemingly mundane enviroments.

When I'm not studying or creating content, I immerse myself in the world of writing. My debut book, Fragments of Silent Scars, is set to release in late 2024 to early 2025, marking the start of my journey as an author. Writing allows me to express my thoughts and emotions in a way that is both cathartic and liberating, and it's a passion that I've cultivated since my adolescent years as I am also an avid reader. My favourite authors include Enid Blyton, J.K. Rowling, and Rick Riordan, whose works have inspired me to create my own stories and worlds.

My love for the English language is unparalleled, as I've studied it for all my life, holding a C2 level of proficiency in English, as certified by the Michigan English Assesment, in conjunction with Cambridge English. In addition, I placed second in Stage 1 of the KGL International English Olympiad, B2 level, in 2021, showcasing my prowess in the language. Besides that, I've also taken part in numerous English-related competitions, such as the Jit Sin Independent English Camp, where I managed to secure the Best Participant Award, Best Performance in Treasure Hunt, Best Song, and Best Group awards.

I'm also a multilingual, being a native speaker of Malay, and being able to converse in Chinese.

During my time in SMK Jalan Damai, I was an active member in school, holding leadership roles such as the Vice President of the Librarian Team, where I oversaw and managed over 100 librarians, and the Vice President of the Malay Language Society. I was also an active Committee Member of the Hockey Club. These roles have allowed me to develop my leadership and communication skills, as well as hone my ability to work in a team, allowing me to bring out the best in myself and others.

In addition to my academic and creative pursuits, I'm passionate about volunteering. I actively contribute to Wikipedia English, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information on the platform, whilst combating misinformation and vandalism. Volunteering on Wikipedia has allowed me to develop my research and writing skills, as well as my ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

Recently, I've taken an interest in producing music, partering up with a distributor to release my tracks on various platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.

All in all, I strive my best to be a well-rounded person, constantly seeking to learn and grow, whilst making a positive impact on the world around me. I am determined to make my mark in this world, one step at a time.
